OUR STORY
Created in the spring of 2020, the Portland Elder Care Council is a non-profit group of volunteers working to provide FREE education & referral services to seniors, their families, and caregivers. We strive to serve the community in a holistic way by providing a circle of support around the aging population that calls this beautiful region home.
Portland Elder Care Council serves the Northwestern Oregon Counties of Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, Washington, and Yamhill.

FREE RESOURCE
Senior Loneliness Line
The Senior Loneliness Line is a statewide partnership between Lines for Life and Oregon Health Authority.

Their free statewide call service is for Oregonians 55 and older. Their team of volunteers and staff are specially trained in working with older adults, and we can provide ongoing support, connect you with resources or just listen. Your information is completely confidential and no one will follow up with you unless you request a call.
Any aging adult who is experiencing loneliness, isolation, depression or anxiety can benefit from a confidential phone call with our Senior Loneliness specialists. Sometimes knowing there is someone who cares and wants to listen can be of great help.
