About the Event

When it comes to getting older, some forgetfulness is natural, but when is a shift in how one

expresses him or herself cause for concern? Please join the Portland Elder Care Council and

our guest speakers, Positive Approach to Care® Certified Independent Trainers &

Consultants Jane Jarman and Kellie Hagen, for a discussion of how older adults and their

care partners can address this question. This webinar will discuss normal and not normal

facets of aging, helping identify how dementia can change one’s expressions and actions.

Kellie and Jane will also discuss strategies and skills to build a positive relationship based

“doing with someone rather than doing to someone.” This is an event you won’t want to miss!

This content will be based on the work of Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care® methods

and education. Please visit https://teepasnow.com/ to learn more about Teepa..
